The Altar UDK
So finally after a long free time in making, here's the final output video of The Altar!
Made with UDK, Maya, SpeedTree and Adobe Photoshop. Music was done by a cousin called Shishir, and mixed and edited in Adobe After Effects.
Hope the viewers love it :)
I had to go through a couple of tutorials for mainly the Water Shader. Did some basic learning for the Dynamic Sky as well, but built upon that.

Altar Of The Sun WIP02
This artwork is going to be something based in a geography like the Highlands of Scotland, or Celtic regions, so I spent quiet a time looking at what kind of flora grows in these places.
So finally after a little time on Google, I decided to make 3 types of flower plants, Twinflower, Primrose and another, the name of which I couldn't figure out, so I called it the Blue Flower. Also there are 4 types of tress. Two are average Deciduous Trees, 1 is called Acer Rubrum and also an Oak tree.
Lastly, I was suggested on a forum by some fine person about my Water Shader and general Sky looking pretty dull. So for Water, I completely changed the shader and found a Shader tutorial by Hamad Al-Hasan on Youtube. Later on I added a few small things here and there on my own within the shader to bring the effect I wanted. As for the Sky, although it wasn't final the last time, I went ahead and pumped up the hues anyhow.
Cheers! :)

Altar Of The Sun WIP01
So I've been working on some personal artwork on mostly weekends for a few hours and whenever I can get time otherwise.
I'm gonna call it the Altar Of The Sun. Did some basic ZBrush work and have finally started adding stuff in UDK for the scene setup. The Water shader was made almost totally with the help of an old 3DMotive tutorial and the sky is made after going through a tutorial on Animated Skydome by Juarez3D and then taking on my own from there.
Sky is not completely interesting right now, but the scene will have a complete day cycle to it, full with stars and Sun and the clouds :)
Here it goes :)

Unity and UDK VFX
So, since more than a year now, I've been working with an Indie Game Developer. Made a few things, but learned a lot more. We were able to come up with an IPad Game called Snatchers which was made on Unity3D 4.0 on which I worked solely as a VFX guy; and also been working on prototypes of a few games based on UDK.
On UDK, I have been doing a few things like, Level Design, Content Managing, basic Materials, Kismet, Matinee and a lot of Cascade VFX too.
So here's 2 videos for Unity3D Particle VFX as well as UDK Cascade VFX:
Sounds on both were done by: Shishir Sharma
Hope the viewers like it!
Cheers!!

A Bridge over troubled waters
So this is my post after a very long time.
Its actually an Assessment I gave for my job application at Wings Intellect, some months back, the Games Dev. company I currently work for :)
Rendered in UDK, Models made in 3Ds Max 2010 and textures done through ZBrush.
Yes, I know the Water looks very much out of place, but I was forced to leave it that way due to shortage of time with my previous job's schedule and low config PC at home :\
So please be the judge of the rest of it :P

ZBrush for Asgard!!
OK! So, my second artwork on ZBrush is this. Shield Of Asgard. Well, I already have a liking towards the Norse Mythology, so.... :)
The Materials are not that good because I just used the normal ZBrush Materials.
More to come from Zbrush soon :D
Cheers!

ZBrush!!!
Alright so I started learning ZBrush a week back. And man, why did I not learn it before :\
Anyways, I saw the free tutorials available with Pixologic website, and amongst them was the creation of an Alien Helmet with Zspheres. SO I went along with it, and also used little bit of other techniques, learnt from the same tutorial collection too, and made this :D
A Semi Organic Alien Helmet....Predator, where are you now?? ;)
Woot!!

Viking Land WIP 2
Ok, long time since this was updated.
Anyways, so here's another WIP of the Viking Land and the last one. The environment is complete and cameras animated for cinematic sequences to capture all the aspects of my creation. Only looking for a good computer that does not lag all the time :|
Here it goes:
The first image here, that of the Viking or the Norse Village in general, shows the plain environment, added with Exponential Fog and LUT effect.
this here is an image of a Stave Temple
This is a sort of an Altar with Henge-like stones and a Norse Field-Labyrinth in the center.
this one shows a few houses around...
Here's a Norse Water-Wheel mill. Its animated with Matinee.
This is a Chieftain-Hall from the inside..
And the Chieftain-Hall from the outside
And this is a dock here. The sails of the ships are Cloth and wave when played. Also the ships have an animated float-rock to them.
